The IPSASB released Exposure Draft 74, IPSAS 5, Borrowing Costs – Non-Authoritative Guidance. The proposed non-authoritative guidance would add implementation guidance and illustrative examples to IPSAS 5. Canadian stakeholders can send comments to the IPSASB until March 1, 2021.

PSAB extended the end date of its current 2017–2021 Strategic Plan by one year to March 2022. This will provide the Board with more time to review and assess the impacts of COVID-19 on its strategic direction. Comments on this extension can be submitted by September 30, 2020.
PSAB approved a revised Employment Benefits project plan at the June 26, 2020 meeting. This approval comes following thorough consideration of how to respond to our stakeholders’ most pressing needs in the best way.
